One of my commissioners thought it was pretty cool that I had zero qualms about drawing myself as a woman and requested I turn him into a woman, THREE TIMES. This is the nude version, gotta still paint the lingerie one and the fully clothed one. “Layered” commissions are super fun and wonderfully challenging, also tough colors on this girl, but I think I did alright.

Wanted to ink something fun today too. So here’s Simon quickly roughed up in ink.

Painted on one layer in one day, I may still be sick but I am gonna punch my way back into a hilariously grueling art schedule if it kills me.

WIP, at some point I just want to do my comics in an entirely painted style. It’s not that I can’t, it’s very possible it just wouldn’t be smart for me currently from a money standpoint (IE: it’s time consuming and I don’t make money off of comics currently, I just love the hell out of them and want to make a career of it). The dream would be to follow the “European Comic Model” and do a page a week, all on one’s own, and just DO THE HELL OUT OF THAT PAGE every week.

I’m feeling so incredibly frustrated so I’m going to just see if I can paint this up tonight.
